Dog Supplies & Accessories
Food is most of what we do, but it isn’t all of it. We stock the gear that gets used every day — the harness, the lead, the chew that keeps a dog busy on a wet afternoon.
The same thinking applies here as on the food shelves. We stock what we’d use ourselves, and we can tell you why each thing is there.
Harnesses, Leashes and Collars
Walking gear is the first thing most people ask us about, and the thing most often bought in the wrong size.
We carry no-pull harnesses, step-in harnesses for dogs who hate anything over their head, everyday and martingale collars, handcrafted leads, long lines and car safety harnesses. A trainer is in the store most days and will fit the harness on your dog before you buy it, which makes more difference than people expect.
What We Won’t Sell
We don’t sell shock, vibration or prong collars, and we don’t allow them in the store.
That isn’t a marketing position. The research on aversive tools is clear enough, and we’ve seen what they do to the relationship between a dog and their person. There’s always a kinder way, and we’re happy to talk about it.
We also don’t stock nylon or plastic chews. They don’t digest, and they carry a real risk of obstruction.
Chews and Enrichment
A bored dog finds their own entertainment, and you usually don’t like their choice.
We stock long-lasting natural chews, single-ingredient treats, puzzle and busy-project toys, and enrichment gear that gives a dog something to do with their brain. Everything is safe, digestible and odor-free — which is not something every chew on the market can claim.
Ask us to match the chew to your dog. Size and chewing style both matter.
Grooming and Everyday Care
Brushes, combs, nail trimmers and dematting tools, plus natural shampoos, ear rinses, dental care and flea and tick options.
We favor non-toxic, eco-friendly and cruelty-free formulas wherever a good one exists, and we’re happy to explain what’s actually in them. Coat type decides which brush you need, so bring your dog and we’ll match the tool.
Come and Have a Look
Everything here is easier to choose in person, with your dog next to you. Bring them in.
